Making A Purchase – Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. Please note that all prices quoted include VAT at 20 percent.

We accept all major cards via Stripe. Not withstanding the first paragraph above, If you are shopping from outside of the UK, your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

When your confirmation of order is received, it is to indicate that we have received the order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case of an unscheduled manufacturers price increase, errors & omissions on our part, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product due to manufacturing or supply issues. If there is a variance in your order, we will contact you first to ensure that any change is acceptable. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order. If you receive the order not as advertised BG Benton will collect and refund with immediate effect at no cost to the buyer.

If there are products you may wish to purchase which cannot be found in our store, please don’t hesitate to contact us either by phone or e-mail, when we will endeavour to source them for you.

For large or complicated orders, we would prefer to discuss your requirements first. When delivery schedules, large order discounts can be arranged.

Shipping Terms and Conditions

  1. Standard Shipping: Our standard shipping rates apply to most destinations and order sizes. However, please note that in rare instances, certain destinations or larger orders may incur an additional surcharge.
  2. Surcharge Confirmation: For orders that may be subject to a surcharge, we will notify you promptly after the order is placed. The surcharge amount and details will be communicated for your confirmation.
  3. Order Processing: Please be aware that orders requiring surcharge confirmation will not be shipped until we receive explicit confirmation and payment approval from you. This ensures transparency and allows you to make an informed decision before finalising your purchase.
  4. Rare Occurrences: It’s important to emphasise that such situations leading to surcharges are rare. We strive to provide a seamless and cost-effective shipping experience for our customers. However, when necessary, this surcharge process ensures fairness and accuracy in shipping costs.

By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to these Shipping Terms and Conditions, understanding that any potential surcharge will be communicated and confirmed with you before dispatch.

Returns Policy – Goods are not supplied on a ‘Sale or Return’ basis. If you receive your order in good condition, but you consider any item to be unsuitable, you may return it for a refund provided that you do so within 30 days of receipt and the item is returned in an unused, original condition and in the original packaging, you will be liable for the cost of the return. In these circumstances, a restocking charge of £30.00 or 25 percent of the value of the items being returned (whichever is highest) will be deducted from the credit for the returned goods.

Any damages incurred in transit back to the return address will not be refunded.

Damages & Claims: PLEASE CHECK ORDER BEFORE SIGNING, IF THE ORDER IS DAMAGED, SIGN SIGNATURE AS “DAMAGED”, TAKE 1 PHOTO  OF THE DAMAGED PACKAGE CLEARLY  SHOWING THE DELIVERY LABEL & A SECOND IMAGE OF THE DAMAGED ITEMS. PLEASE THEN EMAIL US. ANY DAMAGES NOT SIGNED FOR “DAMAGED” WILL NOT BE CREDITED OR REPLACED. PLEASE BE AWARE DPD REQUESTS FOR “LEAVE IN A SAFE PLACE” VOID CLAIMS OF MISSING OR DAMAGED ITEMS.

Tax Charges – For orders made from the UK or other European Union Countries, prices quoted now include VAT.

Credit Card Security – WorldPay uses a combination of both established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Furthermore, their public web servers are certified by Thawte, a public Certificate Authority, ensuring that both the shopper and retailer can have confidence that nobody can impersonate Worldpay to obtain confidential information

Cancellation Fee – We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if you the (customer) wish to cancel.

Privacy Policy – BG Benton Ltd do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
